How in the hell is there a Cressida this clean, in this frozen salt encrusted wasteland?

I rolled down the window in -15 wind chill to take this picture for you spacecrab.

I still miss the one we had when I was younger. White with blue cloth interior. Sadly, it went the way old Toyotas with exceedingly high mileage eventually get, and became too expensive to repair. (Things do eventually start breaking frequently)

Bitter ass cold is a topic in Thermodynamics.

Oof. Memories of freezing while getting gas, knowing your failing 7M headgasket will still prevent your heater from saving you. Been there. I got my first speeding ticket trying to splash coolant into the heater accelerating out of my town freezing my baguettes off on the way to work once.

Cressida memories. All bad thanks to the 7M.

That does not sound fun.

I *think* my grandmother had a Cressida. Not sure.

Strange things happen when the first decade of owners clean Toyota’s somewhat regularly.

The salt cannot be defeated by “somewhat regularly” cleaning. This car either rarely gets out, or more likely isn’t from around here.

It’s -6 outside right now. You’ll be rewarded for your extreme suffering with a car that’s completely frozen shut. Besides, how often are you going to do that? Every day? Because every single time you take it out between now and March, it gets blasted with salt again.

I wash my truck whenever the temp gets above freezing in the winter, an underbody wash too. It’s 10 years old and rust is starting to pop in the rocker panels. They don’t call it the rust belt for nothing.

It doesn’t look like a very memorable car. I thought it was a Camry, until I saw the badge.

Thanks, guy!

Also, look at the lack of unturned stones on this car — even the backs of the MUDFLAPS are body-colored!

You’re welcome!

Yeah, it’s pretty amazing. I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
